I mainly do small scale (less than 5 acres land) topo surveying for grading plans of residential or commercial lots.  Can anyone please let me know what kind of total station (of course within a resonable price range) I might need and the company where I can buy a used one?  Thanks in advance.

A Topcon 200 series may suite your requirements.

Nikon DTM-522

Best total station I've used. Lots of on-board functions, easy to use, very good optics and not very expensive. 字串1
