I am looking for a non complicated and inexpensive volume calculation software/program that enables a volume to be calculated from an in-survey and an intermediated survey which overlaps a specific boundary, but I require the volume within the boundary. at present I am using auto cad lt to give me the area's and then averaging the level to calculate the volume, I am aware I could use cross section however this is time consuming and I require a quicker solution from my survey data!
thanks

I use ezysurf. It will draw tins of the two surfaces and then compare the two to get the cut and fill volumes. At $55.00 it is well worth the money.

I don't believe it will. LT doesn't or at least hasn't supported lisp fuctions. There are some add ons that will allow LT to run lisp, but not sure if ezysurf will work.
