Hi everyone,
I am trying to solve a problem caused due to building up of toilet paper in sewer line leading to pump station. The sewer line and the pumps need to be cleared from toilet paper almost every week as the solids building up is causing surcharge in the manholes and also clogging the pumps in the pump station.
I was thinking of replacing the pumps with grinder pumps or using screening device to help the pump station problem but I think there is a low flow problem that causes the solids building up in the line before getting to the pump station.
Any suggestion to help solving the problem of the sewer line and the pump station.

Have you checked the slope of the line to the pump station?

Run a percentage of the effluent back to a manhole prior to the clog location.

Fit a water flush connection at your manholes. Would appear that their is insufficient slope on your sewage pipe. Offshore Engineering&Design
