Well water sampling requirements

Im currently trying to find out what rountine and initial sampling will be required for the extraction of well water and using it to flush toilets only, (no domestic use basins etc), located in central london, and the well is probably 30ft down, i also need to know which regulation you are working to as i will need to justify to customer, i had thought tvc's coliforms e.coli legionella turbidity something along those lines, thank you

Check with the local governing body. In the U.S. it would be the EPA or the local health dept. Also you could check with a local drilling contractor, they should be aware of the codes.

Your local public health authority are responsible for this i.e. local council. They may do a free test for you if you indicate it 'could' be for consumption, then you will know.

generally there are not requirements for water quality when used to flush toilets. Grey water from sinks is often used without treatment (except perhaps minimal filtering). From a practical standpoint, send a sample to the lab and have them do a standard test assuming it would be used for potable water. This will give you more than you need for your application.

At least back leakage protection to clean drinking water pipelines or possible contamination of such lines after EN rules have to be provided or guaranted. 字串4
That means either complete separate lines, or if cross connection with clean lines is unavoidable (if any way possible: avoid!) full allowed pressure controlled checkvalve protection would be a minimum.
